Wholeness Over Nothingness

Can you do or think nothing? Yes, if you live in a vacuum. Interestingly, there is a vast void between galaxies that covers approximately 70% of outer space. Cosmologist Michael Voegeli and the Philadelphia-based team at Deep/Void have presented a visual void design called Deep/Void that uses artificial intelligence. (Deep-Void has mapped the expansion of galaxies and the structure of the vacuum through telescopes.)
Can something be created from nothing? Absolutely! Miguel Angres of the Public University of Mexico explains that Beamo Voids are much more than nothing. Even voids have a complex structure, with a network of physical matter inside them and even a smaller void within them. The reason we consider them voids is that the matter in so-called voids is so sparse that it’s invisible in images taken with our best telescopes. However, computer simulations suggest that some matter exists in these desolate regions of the universe.
What Indian philosophy suggests? – The term ‘shoonayata’ refers to the lack of inherent existence in all phenomena. That is, objects are devoid of inherent existence because they are interdependent and constantly changing. According to a verse in the Indian Upanishads:
“All this is complete; whatever is complete, completeness arises from completeness, and when completeness is separated from completeness, completeness still remains.”
Therefore, there is no such thing as ‘void.’ Simply put, even after knowing the complete in nature, something remains to be known. Therefore, learning in life is a continuous endeavour.
